Jefe Blaize: I'm a tech geek in the tech industry, whose accidentally based everything in my existing life around the computer industry. For the past decade however, I've felt a lot like my life has become the bursting bubble of the .COM era at the turn of this last millennium. And I'm not excited about it at all.

Although I have a fiery passion for new technologies (as a hobby) and being a part of the creation of exciting new technologies (for employment), these days I find I'd much rather spend my time doing something - anything - outdoors, acting in a play or movie, filming and editing a short film, reading, or making music. Just doing something that's hands on, creative, and makes me smile.

Basically I'm feeling a little trapped. The money of the tech industry is okay, but I haven't found any work in ages that is either super-exciting cutting-edge or satisfies my creative side. Plus no one wants to pay me to do any of the other things mentioned above.

Also, lately, I've gotten this itch to get into politics for some sick reason.

Maybe I can blog out some of my building frustrations here before things somehow go that far.
